Park of Arnado
On the right bank of the River Lima, the park is the result of rehabilitation of the old Quinta da Casa do Arnado estate, a building with origins in the 18th century. It was deeply refurbished in the 19th century, and is currently used as a hostel for pilgrims on the path to Santiago de Compostela, a museum of Portuguese toys and an interpretation centre for the territory. It includes a thematic park where a Roman garden, a labyrinth garden, a Renaissance garden and a Baroque garden have been recreated, keeping branches, tanks and stone water systems that are reminiscent of the old estate.
