Alameda dos Plátanos

A public riverside garden with an impressive view of the right bank of the river, consisting of a leafy avenue about 440 metres long with remarkable plane trees. At the western end of the avenue is the 16th century church of Nossa Senhora da Guia and, more or less in the centre, the complex of the convent of Santo António and of the Third Order of São Francisco, which are now the Terceiros Museum. In front of the museum is a recent small garden enclosed by a trellis - the Jardim dos Simples.
